Our experience

From elegant footbridges to complex multi-modal interchanges we have experience leading the design of major city-shaping transport Infrastructure.  Smartform supported Grimshaw as part of the ‘Qonnect’ Consortia’s Brisbane Cross River Rail Bid and we have been recently providing Design and Technical Consultancy Services on Melbourne’s $50bn Suburban Rail Loop Project.

Joachim led the Bates Smart / Aedas consortia submission for the $11bn Melbourne Metro and subsequently became Technical Adviser to Rail Projects Victoria ( RVP )

Chris has previously led design proposals for Crossrail’s Hybrid Bill for Parliament with Marks Barfield Architects and Kings Cross Station Enhancement with John McAslan and Partners.
