Kings Cross Enhancement, London UK

Blending the heritage and tradition of Lewis Cubits 1852 Grade 1* listed Kings Cross Station, the largest free spanning roof structure in Europe of its time, with the innovation and dynamism of a new contemporary sweeping diagrid roof, the Kins Cross Station enhancement has become the centrepiece of the Kings Cross masterplan redevelopment and Londons new northern transport hub.

Whilst with John McAslan and Partners Chris worked extensively on the design development of the elegant sweeping diagrid roof structure in conjunction with the structural engineering team at Arup. He coordinated  content for an Environmental Impact Assessment & Townscape Analysis and was involved with the design and coordination of above ground LUL structures
