Suburban Rail Loop
The 90km Suburban Rail Link will form a ring through Melbourne’s middle suburbs, linking every major rail service from the Frankston line to the Werribee line, and providing a direct link to Tullamarine and the new Melbourne Airport Rail.
The project will revitalize a significant number of suburbs through the introduction of these major transport nodes.
Joachim led the architecture and urban design team through the initial project stage, the concept design phase as part of the AJM (Aurecon Jacobs Mott Macdonald) team in collaboration with Architects.
Directing the architectural and urban design was a key part to Joachim’s contribution to the project.
